Tips TO Survive Disney World Visit

I am often asked by friends if I have any advice or Disney guide on how to go about visiting the parks especially Disney world and getting the best out of the visit. I am well aware that some of you will have to visit during the school holidays or summer which will always be the busiest time since kids don't have classes. Disney world offers a lot for the sake of enjoyment and what a way to describe all the features, they are literally magical. Let me tell you it's hard to cover all the magical places at Disney for just a day or days.

Let me help you survive the vastness of Disney world like a guide to Walt Disney world after all I have experience it firsthand.

Plan your activities and before the trip get a map of the theme park by checking the site of Disney. Map out the attractions you are interested in. There is always one or two attraction per section of park that has a long wait. It gets hotter and standing in line with a thousand tourists and it's not going to be fun. So choose first the rides with fewer lines.

Pack clothes good for another change in the park and plan for all possible weather so check the weather of the month that you plan to go. The weather in Chicago can be unpredictable, the mornings can be cool and afternnoons may bring some showers. Don't forget your umbrella or cap and dress in layers.

Nothing builds an appetite faster than running around a theme park so bring twice the food you normally would and extra water. We drained six bottles of water and by the time we reached our last theme park, we had to begin buying and this is not convenient especially if you are on tight budget. Bottled water at Disney is quite expensive for a small one.

Don't forget to have fun remember, it's an amusement park. You should be enjoying yourself, even if the pace is a little faster than you're used to. We stopped to take pictures and rest on several occasions to gather energy again.

Keep valuable in a closed fanny pack and be aware of your valuables. Leaving your bag open is an invitation for pickpockets to victimize you. Do not leave packages and valuables visible in your car, lock them in your trunk.
